What better way is there to dive into winter than by taking part in Montréal’s Fête des Neiges!

Île Sainte-Hélène, located in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, will again be home to Montréal’s foremost celebration of winter for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Mother Nature’s wintry splendor will set the stage as the Island welcomes visitors to this fun-filled family event.

To everyone’s delight, longstanding favorites will return again this year:

• The Skaters’ Path, a 1.5-km ice skating path that provides a breathtaking view of downtown Montréal;
• The Tube Slides, these 14 snow-covered tracks remain a longstanding event favorite;
• The Tiny Hands Workshops introducing children to the art of snow sculpting.

Event mascot, Boule de Neige along with his many cuddly friends will be part of the festivities. These wonderful magical characters stroll through the site spreading good cheer and offering up warm friendly hugs to the delight of young and old alike.

Montréal’s Fête des Neiges, is also more than thirty novel attractions, special events and surprises. Further details about the entertainment programming will be published at a later date.
